EUROMECH COLLOQUIUM 642
International Colloquium on Multiscale and Multiphysics Modelling for Advanced and Sustainable Materials
September 23rd-27th, 2024, Rome, Italy
Dear Colleagues,
We are glad to announce that the International Colloquium on Multiscale and Multiphysics Modelling for Advanced and Sustainable Materials (EUROMECH COLLOQUIUM 642) will take place in Rome, Faculty of Civil and Industrial Engineering of the Sapienza University of Rome, Italy, from September 23rd to September 27th, 2024.
The objective of the Colloquium is to account for length and time scales in the modeling of complex material systems in response to different mechanical, electrical, magnetic, or environmental perturbations. The Colloquium will provide a forum to present and debate several advanced computational, experimental, and analytical methods for studying the behavior of complex materials and structures. The goal is to gather researchers specialized in multiscale materials modeling for simulating the mechanics of solids and the physics of matter in order to bridge the gap between Solids and Structural Mechanics and Material Science in the modeling of complex materials.
The format of the Colloquium primarily consists of distinguished lectures by – personally invited – established experts in the field. In addition, contributed presentations will complement the programme.
Abstracts can be submitted by December 28, 2023 January 20, 2024 (extended deadline) to euromechcolloquium642.sapienza@uniroma1.it. All details on the website (link below).
EUROMECH COLLOQUIUM 642 is a Colloquium of the European Mechanics Society (EUROMECH).
