Si informa che nell’ambito del progetto europeo ” NewFrac Training Network: New strategies for multifield fracture problems across scales in heterogeneous systems for energy, health and transport” (https://www.newfrac.eu/) è disponibile un bando per borse di dottorato. La scadenza per la presentazione delle domande è il 30 giugno 2020. Le borse partiranno presumibilmente il primo novembre 2020. Lo stipendio è definito dalla UE (approssimativamente 3100€ mensili, più un contributo per mobilità di circa 600 € mensili e 500 € in caso di nucleo familiare). THREAD is a unique network of universities, research organisations and industry which by addressing fundamental modelling problems will ultimately enable the field to better meet the needs of different industries. A group of 14 Early Stage Researchers (ESRs) will receive comprehensive training covering state-of-the-art research topics along the modeling of highly flexible slender structures for industrial applications (see below) as well as valuable transferable skills. They will benefit from close cooperation with twelve industrial partner organisations implementing a comprehensive programme of research secondments and contributing their experience.

Ph.D. candidates should ideally start on 1 April 2020 for 36 months. The salaries are defined by MSCA early-stage regulations.
