The summer school is aimed at illustrating the state-of-the-art and the main scientific and technological challenges in the development of Floating Offshore Wind Turbines (FOWTs), that is one of the most promising green energy source for the future. The in-person summer school will provide an intensive training course on FOWTs for Master and PhD students, young researchers and practitioners.
To deepen the discussed topics, to strengthen networking between attendees and to developed future collaborations
(including eventually a joint paper), three working groups are planned on the following topics:
1)Computational aspects
2)Structural aspects
3)Fluid dynamics aspects
The Summer school will be held in the same venue, from 5 June 2025 afternoon to 7 June noon (total of 4 half days).
The participation is for free, but for organization reasons it is requested to register here.
Participants, in particular young scholars, are strongly invited to attend both events.
