The Fourth International Nonlinear Dynamics Conference (NODYCON 2025) will be hosted in person by the Stevens Institute of Technology from June 22 to 25, 2025. Following the 2019, 2021, and 2023 successful editions in Rome, NODYCON 2025 will convene in New Jersey, just minutes away from downtown Manhattan, continuing the pioneering tradition of the Nonlinear Vibrations, Stability, and Dynamics of Structures Conference series initiated by Prof. Ali H. Nayfeh at Virginia Tech in 1986. Prof. Muhammad Hajj, Chair of Civil, Environmental, and Ocean Engineering at Stevens, who collaborated with Prof. A. H. Nayfeh at Virginia Tech for decades, will co-chair NODYCON 2025 with Prof. Walter Lacarbonara from Sapienza University of Rome.
This edition promises a rich scientific and social program featuring keynote presentations, workshops, student competitions, and oral sessions, all showcasing recent advancements in various aspects of nonlinear dynamics. The full-length papers presented at the conference will be published by Springer Nature in the journal Nonlinear Dynamics and in the Springer Book Series Advances in Nonlinear Dynamics. The best student papers will be awarded the Springer Ali H. Nayfeh Awards.
To ensure the widest involvement of the international nonlinear dynamics community, a virtual twin event, NODYCON 2025 Virtual, will be hosted online from June 26 to 27, 2025.
