The Minisymposium is organized within the 27th International Conference on Plasticity, Damage & Fracture 2023.
This Minisymposium aims to discuss topics that consider merging skills and knowledge through collaborative activity in the field of the computational modelling of reliable constitutive laws to predict the response to failure of the most commonly used building materials and structures; both traditional and innovative materials will be considered when used for frames, plates, and 3D structures. Economic and urban implications can be considered as applications. A first application aims to improve knowledge and skills to satisfy the conservation and safety requirements of buildings and monuments belonging to seismic areas that may be characterized by a significant loss of cultural heritage.
