Postdoc position @ UNITN
The Department of Civil, Environmental and Mechanical Engineering (DICAM) of the University of Trento (UNITN) is offering a 1-year postdoc position aimed at the development of the scheduled activities in the field of elasto-dynamics of smart microstructured metamaterials.
Subject: “Design and development of innovative acoustic matematerials”
The research activity consists in the development of physical-mathematical models governing linear dynamics of periodic architecture materials and metamaterials, with specific emphasis on analytical and computational methods targeted towards wave propagation control and optimal parametric/topological design.
The research project is coordinated by the Principal Investigator Dr. Diego Misseroni (DICAM – University of Trento) in collaboration with Prof. Andrea Bacigalupo (DICCA – University of Genoa).
